Jenglots are tiny creatures found in the jungles of Indonesia and Malaysia.
Jenglots are around one to three feet tall, have burnt brownish or dark skins, long hair and sharp fangs. Most of the pictures of Jenglots in magazines and online are of dead Jenglots. Apart from locals, not many have seen a Jenglot which is alive. An exhibition of Jenglot had some of these creatures displayed. The hair of a female Jenglot grew from seven inches to 14 inches. The 14 inch hair is on display, but there are no pictures of the same female Jenglot when she had 7 inches of hair.
Doctors in Kuala Lumpur believe that Jenglots are more like the voodoo dolls used by people practicing black magic in Africa, but the presence of teeth, skin and other parts of the body including sexual organs displaces the claims. When the news appeared on TV, most said that these are laboratory made dolls to scare people through black magic.
It is said that Jenglots drink blood and black magicians buy blood from blood banks to feed the dead Jenglots. Its not as to how a dead Jenglot manages to drink blood but a local said that he had poured a bottle of blood near a Jenglot and when he came after 10 minutes, the Jenglot had drank the human blood clean.
Jenglot in Javanese means a vampire. Javanese people confirm that it’s just a man made doll created to mystify the existence of Vampires which they said ruled the earth thousands of years ago. They have a skeleton, which gives a strong case of their existence, but why hasn’t any man yet caught a Jenglot alive is the baffling question.
One thing is sure; these creatures are not alien and have distinct features of a small sized monkey. Exhibitions, which display Jenglots charge at least 25 $ to see the creatures in skin and blood. Exhibitions take place secretly and black magicians come from as far as
Uganda and China. Cost of a dead Jenglot is nothing less than 1000 $.
